Eating few food are healthy for the body like Honey, Apples, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Cashews nuts, Almonds… but we need to care about its combination, time of eating and some part of it as that can be venomous. So lets see few precausion that need to be followed in Daily routine.

Raw Honey

Honey The sweet partner of each healthy and tasty snack, ally of fitness freaks. Ingestion of honey straight out of a beehive will cause real damage to a person’s body. The raw honey must undergo through the pasteurisation process during this harmful toxins and poisons elements are removed. Unpasteurised honey may contain Grayanotoxin which may leads to dizziness, excessive sweating, weakness, vomiting, and nausea.

Apples

It is universally accepted and said that “An apple a day, keeps the doctor away!” however nobody had told you regarding its seeds. Apple seeds are containing a substance referred to as as Laetrile/Amygdalin that may release cyanide once they are mixed with the digestive enzymes. Apple seeds contain about 700 milligrams (mg) of cyanide per kilogram and it will be too dangerous for an individual’s body.

Cherries

Unlike the apples, cherries also contain a type of hydrogen cyanide called prussic acid. Don’t go eating a cup of ground pits, or peach and apricot pits for that matter.

Potatoes

Glycoalkaloids  is found in the stems, leaves, and sprouts of potatoes. Glycoalkaloids is a potentially toxic chemical compound. It can also build up in the potato if it’s kept in direct light for too long. Eating glycoalkaloids can lead to diarrhoea, cramping,  headaches, coma and can be leads to death. So, whenever you see a green coloured potato, don’t be fascinated by its greenery, it can kill.

Tomatoes

Do you know that technically, a tomato is an ovary? It is one fruit or rather berry which Indians just cannot avoid, it is used to enhance the taste of almost every Indian dish. However, you must know that the leaves and stems of the tomato plant too contain Glycoalkaloid which can cause extreme nervousness and stomach upsets.

One more fact is eating tomatoes before the meal is not advisable because eating tomatoes just before our meal can be easily increase the gastric acid level, and this will cause abdominal pain, heartburn and other discomforts. But if we eat tomatoes just after the meal or end of the meal, then because of the gastric acid has already been mixed with food,  the acidity in the stomach will decrease.

Cashews nuts

The cashews nuts available in supermarkets are actually processed trough steam in order to remove the toxic substance called Urushiol. This chemical can cause irritation and rashes on your skin. High levels of Urushiol can allegedly prove fatal. Well it is very well said that excess of anything is very bad. Keep a tab foodies, it may add on to the taste but can be lethal also.

Bitter Almonds

Almond isn’t a nut however it’s a seed. The bitter ones are very toxic because they’re filled with cyanide. it’s better to have them processed to get rid of the poison. The sale of bitter almonds is prohibited in New zealand because of its uncommon quality/ disquality.

ElderBerries

Elderberry is commonly utilized in medicative syrups, sodas and liquors. The roots and a few other elements of the elderberry tree are extremely toxic and may cause severe stomach issues. They contain a chemical substance known as Glycosides that, once processed, get converted into cyanide.
