The Chickpea or Chick Pea (also know as Cicer Arietinum) are the brown-colored beans of a legume plant, which is also known as gram, garbanzo or Bengal Gram. These are green when fresh or raw and it turns to brown when dried. These are nutritious and rich in protein that makes the diet healthy. it is widely regarded as an important pulse, owing to its nutritional properties.
