Well i don’t know that why LTE is working fine but VOLTE not working in Reliance JIO sim. The same sim which was working fine previously. I am not aware that this happens to only me or other people too. But yes i faced this problem.
I am running reliance jio sim in my Motorola x play(XT1562). It’s running the latest android version (marshmallow 6.0.1). And also have the VOLTE system updates installed.
This happens to me, when I just tried to check that whether phone’s sim slot 1 is getting blocked for not as there is lots of rumors or say negative marketing for Reliance JIO sim. I just replaced with some other sim (to be precise AirTel sim card) and after that I insert back the Reliance JIO sim and what happen… I had trouble… well its huge trouble… and also unique one…
I was able to surf every websites as I am having data or LTE /4G support but the volte icon just disappeared from the top. i was forced to use Jio4GVoice app for calling. I decided to resolve this issue. I tried several methods to restore but still no luck. Even i tried to spoof system setting using *#*#4636*#*# but not working.T his time i loose the LTE support too so now no data connection. if you are also facing same issue than here is a solution.

Put the Reliance Jio sim in slot 1

Go to settings.

Go to apps and from top menu with three dots enable system apps.

Now search the setting app.

Clear data.
-
Restart phone.

You are done.
NOTE : This can be happen vice versa that VOLTE might be working and LTE is not working so you can use same solution for this. even Sometime it happens that you will not be able to enable the data you can use same method.

I bought an infinix nlte 4 model but it is not showing volte icon after some time. Only showing 4g icon. I am able to surf net but not able to make or receive calls and messages. I did a factory reset of the phone ,gor sometime it started showing volte and was able to call but after some time it dissapeared again. What to do???

I had bought Samsung A30s in January and it was working fine. A month ago this problem started of Volte not showing in sim 1 jio but showing in sim2 of Vodafone. Jio service centre told me to switch slot as some Samsung models were having this issue and the switch over of slot worked but only for a day and it became back to square one.Today I tried your solution in settings and it worked as of now. I hope this solution will continue working.Thanks once again.
